Palmdale is a city in northern Los Angeles county California. Located in the Antelope valley, Palmdale is separated from the city of Los Angeles by the San Gabriel Mountains to the south. Palmdale was first incorporated in 1962. Originally an agricultural area the community began to be instrumental in aerospace industry with the added presence of the USAF and Lockheed Martin in the early 1950’s.
