Agoura Hills is located in western Los Angles county nestled between the Simi hills and and the Santa Monica Mountains. Located 35 miles from Downtown Los Angles and just 10 miles from the city limits. The population sits just above 20,000 offering a more relaxed experience for it’s residence. Though the area has been settled for much longer, in more modern times it was originally known as the home of Paramount Ranch – a filming location for Western films in the early 20th century.
The Area is part of the California chaparral and woodlands ecoregion. The area is notable for it’s wide variety of flora fauna and clement weather featuring warm summers and mild winters.
Agoura hills is also known for it’s music scene. It is the home of the famous Canyon Club and well known for it’s contribution to the ‘Nu-metal’ genre.
